Wow. Here's a very rare bird. A top-of-the-line varnish model mandolin from the brief period where Randy was making them in the late 90s and early 2000s. And to make it even rarer, this is one of a handful that Randy has built featuring a Virzi tone producer...the same type that appeared in a number of Loar F5s from the early 1920s. Also features Randy's own compensated brass tailpiece that he no longer manufactures.
This beautiful instrument has only had one owner, and is now back on the market looking for its next home. Great sound that will only improve with regular play.
Comes in its original Canadian-built Calton case that Randy utilized for his Supreme mandolins.
