Here's a piece of history that just came in on consignment. This was the first varnish-finished F-5 mandolin that Randy ever built. If you could get him to build a similar one today it would sell for close to $15,000, so this is a deal.
This bluegrass beast features a gorgeous one-piece curly maple back and of course a powerful red spruce (Adirondack) top for those killer vintage tones. It also has a slightly radiused fingerboard and saddle for easy playability, as well as reliable Gotoh tuners.
If you're looking for a special instrument that's been played-in but well cared for, this is the one!
Comes in a shaped hard case.
